Bring on the 2010/11 season say our Old Scotch cricketers, as they strive for a double hat-trick of premierships. WORDS: NICH HILDEBRANDT – PRESIDENT, OLD SCOTCH CRICKET CLUB Two-time premiership captain Rob Ashton paced stern-faced among his team on the side of the Xavier Main Oval. His men were only moments from premiership glory yet his notorious professionalism, a trait which had led his team this far, prevented him from celebrating just yet.
